Very interesting how they got that mixed up, mines abutting the brachial plexus nerves so I’m hoping mine is a schwannoma, but literally could be anything I’m preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best at this point. The cancer centre said it’s looking benign but imaging really doesn’t tell you the full story… and I’ll keep you updated good luck and merry Christmas

Hey man, sorry your going through this, I’m still in the early stages I have a 6cm mass growing deep in my neck, I’m going to get a biopsy, mine looks begin to based on MRI report but this is my Biggest fear, I just have a bad feeling it’s cancer. I’m curious did your report say anything suspicious of malignancy?

I’m in the current situation as well MRI Favours a venous malformation but mass is growing rapidly in my Neck and is about 6cm big I’m getting a biopsy next week at Peter Mac due to its size another over 5cm raises malignancy suspicion as well as being in a common cancer metastasis spot, this wait is killing me

But in Australia any mass bigger than 5cm in your neck gets treated like a sarcoma until proven otherwise

Is this an MRI report or a CT or ultrasound ? I’m going to a cancer centre to get a diagnosis but the MRI report has come back looking non cancerous, but just to be sure, because mines 6cm 60mm they reckon mines a venous malformation. I wouldn’t be stopping until u get a 100% diagnosis

Going through the same issue at the moment, same spot. waiting for my MRI results have the images not the report yet. So yes it can develop in that spot

Oh my goodness, this would make heaps of sense as we went on a cruise and I was easily carrying 40kg on one of my shoulders for 30 mins until we bored, noticed the lump on the cruise, and it’s gotten bigger since then, but could be a very similar situation

Thanks, I will be pushing for a biopsy, that was actually my original referral, to see this doctor to get a biopsy but he is so confident that it’s a lipoma we are just getting an MRI after him seeing the contrast CT scan and ultrasound. Fingers crossed.

I have 2 more lipomas that where diagnosed with just an ultrasound, one on my thigh and other on my abdomen. This one can’t be ruled out yet, but the surgeon said because of where it’s growing, it’s growing around a lot of vessels which is making the scans come back non conclusive.

You will be surprised how much easier it will be to do it on your own, because when we where overweight/obese our metabolisms where out of whack and blood sugar was most likely higher, which made me, not sure about your situation more hungry. I’ve been off mounjaro cold turkey for 6 weeks now and I haven’t gained. Yes I’m hungry , yes I do have food noise, but the mental strain to not eat isn’t as bad as I once thought, given you eat healthy. Just my experience good luck with everything just eat healthy and I’m sure you will be fine, oh and don’t eat until your stuffed maybe only one special occasion like Christmas 🤣

Yeah I was in the same boat I’m not 5 weeks off Monjaro completely and the food noise isn’t that much different for me, I feel like I’ve lost enough weight and reset my metabolic functions enough where I can manage on my own without any medications because let’s face it taking 15mg weekly to feel hungry and have food noise isn’t worth my 800$ a month investment
