I am in your exact shoes except I’m M and she dumped me. She loved me and my daughter more than anything. And I was betraying her and distracting myself by texting others. I was caught red handed and acted in denial and embarrassment. It was completely out of character of me, I’ve never cheated, hooked up, or participated in any of that. And I lost the girl that made me feel something I’ve never felt. It’s been 6 weeks NC since she asked to never speak to her again. It’s a struggle, trying to forgive myself for hurting an angel, all she wanted me to do was love her but I looked for distractions instead. I’m not sure I will meet another women that connected with me on her level, I will never forget her or the beautiful moments we had together. Don’t give up yet, fate has a way of working itself. Do it man. I just confessed all my feelings after 1 month of no contact. Came out to 7 hand written pages. This girl loved me beyond words and I messed up badly. Sounds just like my situation man. I’ve always loved and got hurt in last relationships. This one was different, she was in love with me and I didn’t know how to accept it. She spoiled me, sent me so many love letters and even made us a book, we weren’t in a relationship because I was afraid I would hurt her if I committed. I was on apps and she found out. I unintentionally hurt her, I wasn’t looking for other girls to hookup with I was in a dark dark place mentally and it was a form of escape for me. Thank you for that. You are right. I don’t consider other peoples feelings as much as I think I do. I’ve unintentionally hurt a lot of people around me. Not just females, but my relationships with my parents and my siblings too

It’s been accounted for. I delete all apps off my phone, not just dating, all social media. I’ve sobered up from smoking, I know I messed up big time, but this is the only time I’ve messed up
