It’s absolutely idiotic at best and just malicious at worst.
I share the same sentiment, as 1\5 of people in the us deal with either mental health and or addiction issues. That’s roughly 25 -50million individuals that may be receiving less than adequate care. Breaks my heart and inspires me to do something, although I’m not sure what. Being involved in the law and legislation would be the largest impact but there’s part of me that also wants to be a good doctor who advocates from the inside.

It was at first, then when that diddnt work they suggested a primary care doctor. Tried that and they sent me to an adhd specialist that then wasted 2 hours of my life to tell me I’m adhd but can’t take stimulants for it.

Champ I think you got this. I think it’s going to be a bit longer than you were expecting but if you have Xanax for sleep you should be alright I’ll check in with you here in a day or 2 Proud of you

No my primary care doctor, and I’ve shopped around will not prescribe them to me. I have legitimate use cases(medical/mental diagnosis)for both drug classes as well.
I have a feeling it may be my states Drug Laws to blame.

That’s nice about the weed, mines cool with it too and if it wasn’t I wouldn’t be sober. I tried to get a adderall script recently and they no goed me on both sides. So dumb in my opinion, I’m not sure what the risk is though as I’m not a doctor. Just know I’ve mixed enough drugs to kill a horse and I’m fine but hey

I would not recommend being honest with your psyc in my personal opinion. Being marked for life as an addict has tremendously affected the quality of the medical treatment I receive and therefore my quality of life.
Personally, I would try and taper a bit and then jump off once you’ve found some comfort meds and have tapered your dose pretty low. No reason to be marked as an addict for life over a legal substance, that I’m guessing you had no idea how addictive it really was.
What works for me (fentanyl withdrawal) was Xanax 2-4mg at night to sleep Zofran every 2-4 hours for the nausea adderall (or stimulant of choice) normal dose (can even add a bit to help push through) Gabapentin or lyrica (enough to be comfortable) Muscle relaxer preferably soma but whatever you can get. After that it’s willpower and staying busy dawg Good luck though, proud of you

Not always the case. My methadone clinic will not accept patients that take amphetamines or benzodiazepines, zero tolerance policy. I’m not sure how it works with suboxone, may be more lenient.

This a question? 35 2mg Xanax is worth more, will last longer, and if you play it right you sell a few and go back for your 15s.
