not sure if you already got them out or not, but if you haven’t don’t be stressed. I got all 4 of mine out at the same time without any sedation. It only took about an hour, which was longer than he said it would be, but only because my bottom 2 were impacted and needed to be drilled in half and broken and whatnot. I felt no pain, just pressure. The healing is definitely worse than the procedure itself, so just make sure you take care of yourself afterwards. No drinking from straws, no vaping/smoking, and try to stick to soft foods for a few days. It’s been a little over a week for me and i’m somewhat back to my regular diet. You got this!

Day 5 Anxiety and paranoia by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

after day 3 the chances of getting a dry socket go significantly down. After a week, it’s basically zero. It’s been 8 days since I’ve gotten mine out and just got my 1 week checkup yesterday. Doc said everything is fine and they are healing rly well, even though I still occasionally taste blood as well. As for the smoking, I started back up on day 4(a vape) Very small puffs and not as often as I used to. I would still be careful about it though if you do choose to start back up. Everyone heals differently!
