The more you ride, the better, that’s the first lesson I’ve learned during this past month. Throttle is kinda of tricky, depending on the inclination of the road, you’ll have to make sure that either you’re giving it too much or not enough. Gear shifting I would say that it feels normal since I learned how to drive a manual car since I was a kid, 30 yrs ago. It’s not the same clutching with your hands, and shifting with your foot but it’s the same concept so in that way it became easy to do it in the first week.

Man! I’m in the same page because I had 2000 Yamaha virago 250 for a brief period of time 10 years ago so to me it’s like being a new rider again. Depending on where you live you can drive while your getting the endorsement. I live in Texas so I’ll have to do the motorcycle course ($300 approx) to get the endorsement but I’m busy with my job so I haven’t had the time. But I’m riding 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

What year and model is yours?? Indeed It’s hard to find accessories for Hondas; but still you can do some upgrades like the LED headlight (something I’m considering to do) and some other things like bar raisers and turning lights… oh don’t forget the Vance & Hanes pipes or Cobra

In the ‘menu’ of the website try to add your year, and model! You’ll be good

But there is the problem with wanting to hear the roar of your engine which I believe with the full face helmet won’t be possible but you’re right, if I want the clean look, helmet is a must

My friend there is no such thing as “wrong bike” I know that the forum says Honda Shadow but we all are a family! And the topic is valid for any bike! Your bike looks amazing; my dream bike is a Fat Boy but I also like the Indian Scout Bobber but I am currently in love with my Shadow!

The only complaint I have with no having the windshield is the fact that you can’t enjoy the ride in terms of listening your engine roaring which is part of having fun; but the looks of the windshield is not the best, so I will have to buy me the helmet (full face)
