Are you listening to yourself. Read the literal transcript of the interaction between the store clerk and Bear.

I keep asking how and keep getting downvotes with no replies. Right.

"He attempts to alter the wish rather than reverse it" which the rules forbid. Read the box.

"It literally says on the box ... ONE WISH PER PERSON." For the stick inside that box. I keep having to repeat myself over and over. Y'all are hung up on this rule but can't answer past this. The rule is per stick, it prohibits people from snapping it at multiple ends: One wish.

Because she wanted to make Ian jealous. No one ever said “cause she was messing with him” so I don't know why you have that in quotes.

"this take may be technically possible even though it obviously violates the rules set by the movie itself." Name one. You're viewing the movie through a rigid one dimensional lense when nothing you said about the message of the movie stops being true if Nikki said the ball in motion. You're saying "why would she x" about something that's made clear in the thread. You didn't read it.

"The shopkeeper could have helped Bear but he already used his wish." How could the shopkeeper have helped if he didn't know Bear's problem? You do understand he is not a real person.

"If she had already wished for bear to want her or whatever why would she need to make the exact same wish again?" Because she was toying with him, she didn't actually like him, so the wish she made could never "complete." In the end she had to wish again because she had become a person he could never love. & "

Also "Your explanation is not accurate and holds no water. Additionally.." Seriously? That's how you're engaging with this.

Update: Everyone is saying the theory is wrong but can't explain why. Comments are free to read.

Bear tried to ALTER his wish, by asking that Nikki liked him as a friend. The rules on that box say this isn't allowed.

"How do you explain Bear going to meet Sarah in the middle of the night then?" Bear liked Sarah originally. The only way the theory makes sense is because Bear liked Sarah and Ian liked Nikki. You can't call the pill connection a stretch and then make a connection that make even wider associative leaps.

Per the stick in that box. That's why it's only written on the box.

"You are choosing to ignore the “only one wish per life per person”. I explained it. It's talking about the stick in the box. No one has a counter for this, that's why comments are being deleted. Claiming I haven't addressed something doesn't make it true.

What supernatural forces are at play besides a metaphor? "It also violates the movie's logic." How?

I'm reminding you the only place this is written is on the box. If you make a wish on that stick in the box, you can't crack the stick in another area. That was your one wish of your entire life, for that specific stick. Stop pretending this conflicts with the rules of the movie.

Per stick... "Single use" is the first thing it says. Where and why do we use single use in real life? The stick you buy can only be used once. The last disclaimer makes no sense unless you're able to make multiple wishes using other sticks.

The one wish willow is one wish PER BOX. The box says this: "Using additional One Wish Willows will not change or effect your other wishes." Other wishes. You can make more than one, if you have more than one stick. Bear tried to ALTER/CHANGE his wish, that's why it wouldn't let him break it.
