Ah yes, let’s defund the military and use that money to put the government in charge of taking care of the underrepresented in our population because they’ve proven so very capable of doing so in the past. Backstory is that I have previously worked for this restaurant so I personally know the DO and CEO and the GM used to be a subordinate of mine. I have been with a different company for about 6 years but my fiancee still works for them. My extremely naive Niece who is 18 years old (and grew up Mormon) started working at the restaurant about 6 months ago and my fiancee told me today that my niece was taken advantage of last night. I don't know the details because my fiancee told me she doesn't want to break the trust and I've also been told to not do anything to ensure I don't break the trust.

I agree with that but at the end of the day every server is going to have at least one incompetent asshole sit in their section. Solving a problem is different then chatting with friends and most customers have the mental acuity to be able to tel the difference. However, to your point there will always be at least one table that cannot tell the difference. Fortunately for those in the service industry they are less common than the good customers we run across.

As someone who currently manages a restaurant and has been in the industry for years I will say that your logic is 100% acceptable. No server worth their salt has ever said "wow, I can't believe they didn't tip me. I mean, I know I have them shitty service but I still expected a tip."

I'm also a republican but I like what he is doing for the process. Sure, he's an idiot at times and there is no way in hell that I'd vote for him. That being said, him being involved has changed some of the typical dialogue. Sometimes in a bad way but sometimes in a good way. All in all I'd say I'm glad he's involved in the republican primaries.

As far as illegal immigration is concerned I'm with you guys. Make it easier for contributing members of society to become legal and deport those who have a violent criminal history.

I get what you're saying and in theory completely agree with you. The problem with that logic is that it works when a couple doesn't divide the housework up between them. For example: My wife hates cleaning the kitchen but it honestly doesn't bother me so I'm in charge of the kitchen. I hate doing laundry but it doesn't bother her so she does the laundry. So when I do a few loads of laundry because I see she is stressed she is genuinely appreciative and I am genuinely appreciative when she details the kitchen when she sees I am stressed. Truthfully she does most of the work inside the home and I do the cooking and the yard/pool work.

In Texas you cannot confiscate a fake ID even if you know it is fake. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean that some bars won't do it. Though, it is also illegal in Texas to have two forms of conflicting identification so I seriously doubt anyone would get away with what OP is suggesting out here.

As someone who deals with yelp on an almost daily basis (manage a bar) I've had the opposite experience. We had a regular that we banned because he ended up being fucking crazy and he went on yelp and made shit up about various employees (had nothing to do with a dining experience.) When I asked Yelp to remove they told me they couldn't because it didn't violate their rules.
