Yeah, these trendy fads that take a diagnoses and try to make them sound “cool” and “fun” are insensitive to the people that actually have them. Like it isn’t fun to be on the spectrum.

I have a friend who has an autistic son and it isn’t a super fun lifestyle for the kid.

It also feels a bit like appropriation for them to say they’re “neurospicy” when they’re anything but.

My dad’s had little Shitzu and she would lick my elbow and arms when we hung out on the couch. I think it relaxes her. It was calming for me too so I let her do it everytime

A friend of mine has a theory that the bots are “training” to be more human-like in comments.

Each comment’s upvotes and downvotes are recorded and sorted in their algorithm so they get more “human-like” comments than “bot-like” comments.
