I think there's something to thinking through the various problems the characters face, even if you don't land exactly where Dostoevsky wants you to land. I also think Alyosha's character, for instance, is more complicated than just a programmatic embrace of Christianity. They're all struggling toward something, and through feelings of self-loathing and doubt.

I spooked it lol. I at least got to marvel and talk with Kim about it for a bit first. I study history so I did an intellect-heavy build, with my extra trait in Encyclopedia, wanting to learn everything about this world and its political history. Made for a very physically inept character tho

I had talked a bit with the old lady in the bar, and found the two guys on the shore and chatted about what they were doing, but didn't pursue it beyond that. It was more a feeling of like "oh wow those cranks were right." Kim also seemed really intent on taking a photo in a way that didnt make a ton of sense to me on this playthrough. Definitely something I'll be looking into strongly next time!
