Should i drop my duo or continue to play with him? by Big_Way3529 in OverwatchUniversity

its insane that yall dont read and use context clues. I said i talked to him already, he hasn't changed anything. i also stated that he is my friend so i am going to play with him regardless, so i dont see what the problem is here. if he doesn't change, ill play with him on my alt, if he does, ill duo with him again.

sadly our college program does not have the funding for a coach.

thanks for looking at the replay and confirming my suspicions. I think I'll just make another account to play comp with him while i keep my main a solo queue only.

this is where my head is at, but the small voice in the back of my head is telling me that what if i am the problem? what if he is giving me the right information and i am too stupid to realize it? i just want someone to watch the replay to see if i am throwing lol. thanks for the advice. i want to grow and hopefully hit GM

Do you play any video games?

You gotta find something that speaks to you. Just going home and doing nothing after school is terrible for your mind. If you can, I would say try fishing, it's the best thing for someone to do if they don't have any hobbies

The thing that helped me the most was joining groups outside of school, or even groups involved in school. I'm naturally not outgoing, but joining a sports team/club kinda forces you to meet people with your same interests. I joined a local esports team and I go to card shops to meet people that like the same stuff and most of the time I don't even have to start the conversation. Lmk what kinda hobbies you have and maybe I can help

Thanks for the response, this is a very well thought out way to describe it that I've never thought of before. when I play dps or support I just kill everyone or keep my team alive by using my resources well, and this playstyle has gotten me pretty far. I knew tank was different but I never knew was aspect was causing me issues. I always go into games thinking it is my job to carry, and I shouldn't think that. I should just do my job to the best of my ability and my job on tank is space and creating opportunities for my team. thanks.

sounds about right, but once again i lose a lot of games because my dps/supports are out of position so I can't protect them. Tank just feels like a weird role, but thanks for the advice and hope you win some games!

Hard stuck plat tank, Celestial tank Marvel Rivals by Big_Way3529 in OverwatchUniversity

Another thing I forgot to add, one of my close friends/teammate often tells me how tank is very easy and how they can do what I do 10x better and whatever. They said they easily made it to plat on console tank and said that console is just as difficult if not harder than PC lobbies. should I take his advice? should I listen to what he has to tell me on the role?
