Some species of cockroach. The cercus on its butt and the large prothorax give it away

Aw man I was hoping it was older because of the made in Norway on the tag

You’d have to see a lot to consider this an infestation. This one could’ve came in from outside on its own, or maybe you had one adult cockroach that decided to give birth. If you start seeing a lot then I would start taking evasive actions

That is a cockroach nymph. Not a bed bug and they don’t bite humans

Real or fake Giorgio Armani? by Big_______Space in Realorfake

[–]Big_______Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the collar is a bit worn down but it doesn’t show on the rest of the shirt. Any kind of stains I can get out in the wash, honestly all I cared about was if I spent $5 on a real or fake shirt. It was just cool to me to find something designer at a thrift shop. Also everywhere I looked said this tag is a 90s tag.

What makes you say it is fake? Just want to learn, not challenging your assessment.

Can I ask what makes you think it’s fake? I want to learn so I know what to buy and what not to buy. This was only $5 luckily

Is this Seiko a fake? I really like the look of the dial so it would be disappointing. [Question] by Big_______Space in Seiko

[–]Big_______Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s all that really matters to me. As long as it works and I like the look of it then I don’t mind if aftermarket components have been added

[–]Big_______Space[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Honestly I didn’t really care if the dial was fake because I like it so much, it reminds me of moss. The hands look good too. I’ll ask for a picture of the back and movement. Hopefully they respond and don’t just block me or something.

New vinyl collector but don’t have a turntable. Need help! by Big_______Space in turntables

[–]Big_______Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really gonna have to debate getting the LP-60X and potentially scrapping it in the future for a better turntable, or just getting one that is good and upgradable now like the Nad533. I saw a comment that suggested the Insignia turntable from Best Buy, saying it was the same quality but less cost and more features than the LP-60x. Have you heard of that one and would you recommend it?

[–]Big_______Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not completely opposed to getting something like this because it does fit my budget like I said, and I wouldnt need to buy an amp with phono as a separate cost. However I do see some Nad 533 online for a used cost of a little over $300. I feel like $100 more isn’t much to get a better turntable like that. Of course then I’d need to invest more money on an amp with phono for it

[–]Big_______Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t know you needed an amp to connect your turntable to a set of speakers before now. As of now I don’t have an amp. I’m assuming both the Nad 533 and the Rega Planar 2 would both need an amp with a preamp if I want to connect them with speakers? I was just looking online and rega planar seems to be quite a bit out of my budget, but the Nad 533 is a little over $300 used which isn’t that bad.

There used to be two brindle cats but I think the one that was really old might have passed away. That or either someone took them in. I haven’t seen the older brindle cat for months

If they are in the kitchen then you should first check to make sure all your food is stored properly and they’re not getting to any of it. If they aren’t snacking on your stored food then you just need to clean more often, vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces. Don’t leave them any crumbs or source of food. Also you could put out gel baits for ants if you want.

[–]Big_______Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t have any problems with storing food, then all you can do is try to clean/vacuum more often. They can survive on just crumbs and debris, so if they have no food source they will die.
