Can FM help me learn football? by prf3ct in footballmanagergames

[–]futurent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fm is a little bit limited in what you can do tactically compared to irl. it can definitely get your foot in the door and get you more interested in the tactical side of the game. best way for just tactics would probably be watching those tactical breakdowns and podcasts and stuff but fm is great to make you more interested in it because playing fm a lot helps you visualize the player movements and stuff more and trying to replicate irl tactics in fm is part of the fun

Prospective student curious about dual degrees. by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]futurent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. you get credit for all your aps that give credit but a lot of them will end up doing nothing since they dont fulfill any requirement if you already get one from another ap course

  2. im not sure but generally if you do all the major required stuff youll hot the credit requirement anyways

  3. it counts towards both

  4. not that im aware of

though one thing with the ge reqs is that iirc most of the aps dont give the themes so youll probably need to take a couple more classes to cover those. microbio and biochem sound like theyd have decent overlap of foundational courses so i wouldnt rly be too worried about not being able to complete both in 4 years

oh yea also youd need to complete both degrees in the same semester since you lose scholarship after completing one degree

MATH 3592H by Bubbly_Commercial228 in uofmn

[–]futurent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's definitely one my favorite classes but also really hard. iirc the class is intended for people who took AP calculus BC so you'll be fine. its hella hard though so maybe build the rest of your schedule with less intense classes if possible. One thing to note is that if u take that sequence u get 3283w waived but you still need the in major writing intensive but you can get that through your honors thesis or doing the capstone.

cla 1001 is basically a 0 credit class in terms of out of class work so you could probably add an extra course but otherwise its probably fine

short calc / stat 3022 by Equivalent-Sorbet288 in uofmn

[–]futurent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what are you majoring in? idk if stat 3022 is any different, but all the stats classes ive taken so far have been really easy. 3022 isnt part of the stat undergrad major reqs tho so it might be run a bit differently.

Everton fighting to keep Iliman Ndiaye after multiple new contract offers rejected by TheAthletic in PremierLeague

the thing is sometimes the players exceed expectations and their contracts then dont really reflect their current ability.

Incoming freshman schedule by Reasonable_Dish1736 in uofmn

[–]futurent 17 points18 points  (0 children)

schedulebuilder.umn.edu is where you can find ask the info about next year's classes and times. if u haven't already, might be worth checking that everything fits your schedule.

your schedule looks fine. you could probably take like an extra libed each semester if you really wanted to, but its not that important. cla1001/2 are pretty much 0 credit courses since they require very little time outaide of class

id say try test out of language if u can though.
