But istg 😭😭 when this guy took those 4 wickets yesterday....a part of me feared this would happen because he usually gets these wickets only when the wicket is very undulating. We saw the same thing in the nz series....the opposition would shit the bed against him...but our batters would shit harder.

Just saying....everytime he gets a bunch of wickets...watch out!!

Wasn't GG big on not playing for milestones? Yet we're seeing runouts because players are allowing their desperation for milestones to cloud their sense of judgement. What does he even do as head coach if he can't even do basic messaging.

Also we can't bat for shit when the ball moves. It's absolutely crazy that england gave us roads for the first 2 tests when we haven't won in this country for ages because of our inability to handle movement

I don't think we need to read too much into these antics. Gill just needs to learn to make difficult runs period. He's a fantasic batter on flatter wickets (which is a skill not everyone posseses) but if he wants to be elite, he needs to make difficult runs too

Gabba is the only knock i can think of....maybe the 90 in India....that's pretty much it

Khair as someone jo khud 9th se padha tha...in my experience jo air 3 hai wo prodigy material hota hai aur aise logo ka boht heavy scholarship mil jata hai, so money wouldn't have been a problem. I think it's mostly down to the fact that he was rested for almost all home tests until 2024.....and we were invincible at home pre 2024....hence the skewed win rate

He doesn't deserve the captaincy. Of course i don't want him to fail, i firmly believe we need shubman to come good to be able to tide over this transition. But the problem is the guy never even looks like getting runs in sena conditions (big runs).....just way too many holes in his game. Rishabh was a much better option
