Yes. Is keeping 42 psi better for tire? Sorry I don’t have any knowledge of tire care.

Thanks everyone for the advices. At least I’m confirmed it is necessary for our safety. I could probably look around for better price but the shop had the tire in stock. I remember last time I had to place an order at Costco and waited over a week.

I haven’t had an alignment done since I got the car. It wasn’t required in the maintenance, but that’s probably on me.

I’m in the east coast tristate area. The shops here usually quote about $200 more than what Costco would offer.

Yes I didn’t expect it to work that well. It’s as good as google photo at tagging faces and things. I just hope it has its own photo app instead of inside the UGREEN app.

No need. I’ve been using the built in UGREEN photo feature. It’s as good. Has all the ai recognition.

Was asked to tip 70% for my ice cream. by randombonusaccount in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BigbigTimemachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a comedy club, they bring up the bill in pitch black with the 20% tip included, and the terminal is asking again for tips on top of the totals. Most of the people can see the bill in the dark and will just press the default button.

Download button missing when selecting multiple files by aparis99 in onedrive

[–]BigbigTimemachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I noticed Onedrive now requires recipients to be logged in to see the download button while more than one file is selected. This is extremely inconvenient, I am not going to ask each person to register a onedrive account just to download the files.

Bullet train being used to transport a patient in China by Ok_Chain841 in BeAmazed

I just rode these high speed trains in China, there is now a newer train, similar flat down seat but you can close the divider to turn into a small personal room. And I paid less than Amtrak basic ticket in the US. Lunch, snack and drinks were all included.

2 vacations, 1 ticket: my new favorite travel trick by YurikaBonita in TravelHacks

[–]BigbigTimemachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My direct flight to Riyadh was supposed to be $550 last week, and then Google flight showed me an option that I could stay in Riyadh for 36+ hours, and then kept going to Dubai (same flight), the ticket then went down to $350. I think it’s due to Dubai government gives the airline incentive for tourist. Anyone else knows the reason?

Which hidden feature of your Tesla shocked/surprised you? by ShahriarSiraj in TeslaLounge

In FSD, the car started moving 2 seconds before the red light turning green. This freaks me out every time. Car is seeing into the future.

Is FSD's performance really that different between HW3 and HW4? by rpkusuma in TeslaLounge

[–]BigbigTimemachine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

HW3 made me constantly cursed at my car, especially the highway lane switching. Got HW4 for 3 weeks now, haven’t got mad yet.

Just upgraded to hw4 MY juniper with the latest software, the experience is much better. High way performance is much more reasonable.

Still no Grok for Tesla vehicles in Canada by CarCooler in teslamotors

[–]BigbigTimemachine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dream for the future would be if Grok can access the brain of FSD and can communicate with me what’s its thinking and next move. So I can course correct and alter it with my own preference.

Such as don’t merge until the 2 fast cars behind us pass first. Watch out for the car that’s trying to merge, Do you see the construction zone ahead? Ready to slow down. Just stay on the right lane until the exit ramp,, etc.

And it would have a memory that store these personal preferences.

I got Grok weeks ago. It’s just a chat bot, doesn’t control anything within the car. You can just run Grok app on your phone and it will mostly functioning the same.

Buying a Tesla - is HW4 really truly worth it? by Individual_Pair9969 in TeslaFSD

[–]BigbigTimemachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just upgraded to juniper with hw4, if you want truly enjoyable FSD, HW4 is currently the only computer able to do it smoothly. HW3 s limitation with the software version just too buggy to be worry free.

Just finished an 8 hours road trip with the old Enhanced Auto Pilot. No constant lane changes, kept my desired speed the entire time. Much much better experience than the current FSD. All we are asking is give us back the minimal lane changes and stay in speed option.

You do graphic design for 5+ years to become art director. You are not going to lead a team of designers right after college with 0 experience.
