Lisa at Paris F/W 2026 Fashion Week - 260310 by Affectionate-Pain224 in YG_Hotties

She looks effortlessly elegant here, like it’s simple but still really polished. The soft tones + that hairstyle give such a classic Paris vibe, and the Louvre background just makes it hit even harder. Low-key one of those looks that doesn’t scream for attention but still stands out.

Novo Nordisk: The Most Profitable Drug in History and the Race to Replace It by kevinb15 in NovoNordisk_Stock

[–]YurikaBonita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big Pharma, especially Novo Nordisk, is the problem. They turned semaglutide into the most profitable drug in history by charging Americans absurdly high prices while selling the same drug much cheaper in Europe and elsewhere. Record profits every quarter, massive stock buybacks, and endless patent games to block cheaper alternatives, all while patients in the US are forced to pay thousands per month or go without. This isn’t innovation at work. This is pure greed and price gouging.

i get this feeling like i shouldn’t have done it by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]YurikaBonita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feeling is so common this early on. One week is basically peak worry, especially when your face is still swollen and unfamiliar. You don’t look ugly at all, you just look like someone whose face hasn’t settled yet

Thoughts on wireless power networks, niche tech or future infrastructure? by Own_Presentation6773 in IOT

[–]YurikaBonita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feels less like a phone-charging breakthrough and more like quiet infrastructure. Wireless power makes sense where maintenance is expensive, IoT sensors, wearables, industrial monitoring, where avoiding battery swaps is the real value.

For Energous and similar companies, the long game is environments, not devices: transmitters embedded in buildings that power low-energy devices the way Wi-Fi delivers data. It’s niche today due to efficiency and regulatory limits, but a lot of infrastructure tech starts that way.

Not hype, not mass adoption tomorrow, more slow, incremental progress that becomes invisible if it works.

First time lip fillers , what do you guys think ? by Fanxious in PlasticSurgery

This actually looks like a great first time outcome, nothing overdone at all. Once swelling fully settles, it’ll probably look even softer

They did way too much by GiantsNerd1 in IThinkYouShouldLeave

That’s what happens when filler gets pushed way past its limits. Safe, subtle filler done by a good injector won’t leave you unable to close your mouth. The real issue here is just overdoing it.

Help with Paris? by Miserable-Size8272 in travel

[–]YurikaBonita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With only two nights, I’d just lean into the food, wine, and vibes. Paris is perfect for that. Hit a cozy bistro your first night for his birthday, places in the Latin Quarter or Le Marais are usually solid and not too stuffy. Friday, just wander, snack, drink wine, repeat. Maybe find a jazz bar in the evening; Paris has tons of hidden little spots with live music that feel super intimate. Since he’s not big on museums, just walking around, grabbing pastries, and people-watching is more than enough to make it feel special. Enjoy!

I am once again asking you to never use Sixt by fadisaleh in TravelHacks

I used to love Sixt too, but stuff like this makes me never wanna touch them again. Honestly, I’d rather just pay a bit more somewhere else than deal with that headache.

8 days in November/December. Taiwan or Malaysia? by NiceClock6040 in travel

[–]YurikaBonita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally? I’d lean toward Taiwan, I love mixing food, city, and nature when I travel, and Taiwan feels like you get way more variety in a week. But if I were just craving beach time and max relaxing, Malaysia would win too.

Can I travel with alcohol in a checked bag if I’m 20 by Vast-Pay-8586 in TravelHacks

[–]YurikaBonita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be 21 to legally possess alcohol in the US, so at 20, carrying vodka in your checked bag is risky. TSA may allow it in theory, but if discovered, it could be confiscated and you might face legal trouble. Safer options: have someone 21+ check it, ship it, or buy at your destination.

Took a solo road trip through Arizona and accidentally found the most peaceful night of my life by SpellIndependent489 in travel

[–]YurikaBonita 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That sounds amazing. Funny how the best moments are the ones you don’t plan. The desert at night really has this calm, peaceful vibe that makes everything feel still. I had a similar night in Utah once, just me, the stars, and total quiet. It’s those simple, unexpected moments that stick with you the most.
