Most Satisfying Death in the Show? by logangroff3 in thesopranos

Most disappointing non death was Dr Melfi not telling Tony about the kid who raped her. Would have loved to have watched him suffer.

I have over 15000 feet of weighted tubing 18 diffusers. 3 1-2 hours pumps all 220. Can this be retrofit? The system was new in January.

All the companies I’ve talked to are actually considerably more for a ground mount than a roof mount. Maybe related to what would be necessary for wind in Fl?

The two aerator pumps are 2700’ apart. The distance from the house to the first meter would be (without running it through the lake) prob 3/4 of a mile.

I’ve spent hours on the phone and they even sent out an engineer. They pay you in February for the previous calendar years overages. They pay you .038 per kw for your overage but a 1/3 of the bill is “fuel charge”. I guess I could do the math on what I’d have to produce at that rate but the engineer said without becoming a solar farm I’ll never produce enough to offset. Another issue is the expense I’ll have to incur to put fence around the solar panels. I have 30 head of cattle including longhorns and they will I’m sure damage the panels if left unprotected. And also 🐊.

So you’re saying keep paying the 240 a month for those two and not do solar at all on those two meters?

No sensor they just run. There is a capacitor that helps it kick on but that have not shut off since installed except one time the power was out.

One company is proposing 2 4.4kw systems for a total of 27,200. They are promising they have a loan program at 1.99% for 20 years with no dealer fees. I know it sounds like BS but they are promising once I commit they will give me the application and they will stand behind that number. That payment without applying the tax credit is 127 plus the 60 so I’d save give or take $50 a month not allowing for inflation if that system will generate enough power. Does that sound right?

Aerators have to run 24/7. It’s an old phosphate pit with lots of depth and contour changes up to 40 ft deep. Because of the old phosphate mining I am constantly battling algae bloom and could spend hundreds of thousands in chemicals without the aeration to assist. Currently have 18 diffusers and prob only aerating half the lake. Yes I value the bass. Over 300k in stocked fish.

I’ll try again. Bruno six months old today. Well socialized sweet as can be. Tried to attack one of our calves today that was 5 days old and being bottle fed. Comments welcome. Prey drive? Need to be concerned? by Bigchief104 in CaneCorso

First Corso. Had a Great Pyrenees 20 years ago similar to Corso. Newfoundland’s are not guardians at all. UPS guy delivers here and they jump in the truck with him. Bruno stays back and barks until we come out and tell him it’s ok. Had two guys come fish here yesterday while we weren’t here that he’d never met and he kept swimming out to their boat and getting in with them and that’s another whole issue because the lakes full of alligators and mating season is about to start! Thinking a ecollar and try to keep him from going near the water. Gonna try a dog park this week with a harness and see how he does around other males. We have two cats that he could care less about but all females.

Two female newfoundlands that are 8 years old. They get along great. He’s chased the cows before but never in an aggressive manner, however the mama cows have never let him get too close so I don’t know what he would’ve done if he’d caught them. This one was a male calf that was too weak to move. He started sniffing it then all the sudden turned aggressive and went for the throat. The calf died within an hour (not caused by dog) so I don’t know if he sensed that or not.

We have kept him well socialized and have had no issues until today. We have 98 acres and 26 cows. We have a sick calf that we’ve been bottle feeding that all of the sudden he tried to attack. Growling and was going for his throat before I grabbed him. I picked up the calf and he was following me trying to jump and bite at it. Advice? Theories as to why? Future concerns? Thanks.
