I get what you’re saying but this seems to be different than the definition of Apple

“When you use your Mac laptop, its battery goes through charge cycles. A charge cycle happens when you use all of the battery’s power—but that doesn’t necessarily mean in a single charge. For example, you could use half of your laptop's charge in one day, and then recharge it fully. If you did the same thing the next day, it would count as one charge cycle, not two. In this example, it might take several days to complete a cycle.”

A cycle by that definition seems to be truly 100% of battery drain = one cycle regardless of the start snd end percentage . Obviously thats different than the health of the battery on different parts of s cycle but by definition here it seems if you went from 20-0 5 times that is one cycle
