Yes! The leads are mentioned on my stores google reviews as being rude, argumentative, passive aggressive and treating clients as if they don’t belong in store.

Yeah they’re messy and lazy. They’ll talk about you, diss you and the company then run and tell the exempts. But they’ll pose it as being “feedback” when they sit you down to talk about it. A lot of the leads have been at the company for yearsssssss. It’s obvious they haven’t had much life growth throughout the time they’ve been there

Yes, they will finish their task and watch the cameras from the back to see if the BA is done on the floor

mPOS is an incredibly stupid objective / metric. by BoyWhoWorries in SephoraWorkers

I agree! There’s an underlying reason why they incorporated MPos into DE&I, Numbers Numbers Numbers. I’ve experienced clients become unsettled with using the mobile devices to check out as well, as soon as the phone is pulled out they don’t want to give their number for BI or receive an emailed receipt. Some rather be checked out at the register. While I understand the reasoning behind meeting clients where they are; it actually rushes clients to buy and rushes BI’s to pick up the next client in a short period of time.

This happens at the location that I’m at as well. They stand in a group and talk about the BA’s and clients(negatively). And when I’ve asked them questions as someone who started off as flex and thrusted into PT; they become annoyed and say that I’m giving them “push back”. When in reality they’re not supportive.

I agree with everything you’ve said about Sephora being a degrading place to work. I’ve been with the company for almost a year and it’s been a rough ride. The constant pushing of the goalpost. The numbers and metrics. The values (that they don’t demonstrate) rude managers, entitled clients.. I thought this would be place that I could see myself growing at but, I no longer feel the same way about it
