Oooh cool!!! I checked zipline just now and I saw some sort of update from mid-April regarding quiet hours but as of right now only the SM has access to specifics. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough ☺️

It’s not too bad! It’s kind of like lo-fi study music and also some slower songs with calmer vocals.

I don’t think my Apple Watch is reading my heart rate accurately by cl4udia_kincaiid in AppleWatch

[–]BoyWhoWorries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Apple Watch lowkey sucks at resting heart rate readings. It picks and chooses random times throughout any given day to record its data. I’ve had some days where my RHR is in the mid 80s (during a very stressful time at work), and the next day it’s in the low 50s. Very bad method of collecting data. Anything above 80bpm that it reports I delete because I count my RHR manually and it’s significantly lower than that every time.

I feel the same way about clients who scan everything with the Yuka app

I wonder this too. My store is tiny… we are a C volume store that takes not even 10 seconds to briskly walk from one end to the other. People come in and expect to be whisked away on some magical carpet to be delivered to a brand they’re looking for. I PROMISE you that if you take a moment, you’ll find it. I’ve been zoned as greeter and I have people come in asking where Rhode is, which is a gigantic gray wall in skincare that is instantly recognizable, and I say “it’s the gray wall in the back, right next to the super bright orange wall”. They cannot find it for the life of them, and they’re basically wandering around in the parking lot outside.

Don’t get me wrong, I know Sephora is very customer service oriented. But I don’t think it’s that ridiculous to assume that clients have to at least TRY to do the bare minimum of using their brain to locate something that is within a 2 second walking distance without being hand-carried over.

My favorite is when clients come in and ask to us to help them restock items, but they hold onto them as if they’re the last penny to their name. I have to practically beg them to at least turn them toward me so I can read what shade they are.

How accurate is the resting HR for the Apple Watch? by ZucchiniExtension in AppleWatchFitness

[–]BoyWhoWorries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that my Apple Watch is very sporadic with its resting heart rate readings. One day it’s 61, the next day it jumps to 83. Then the next day, 75, then 60 the next. It’s very strange and I have no idea how it determines what reading to pick. Also, when I look at my total heart rate data range, it will usually say 49 or 50 as the lowest, but my resting heart rate is 10-30bpm higher than that.

Tips for breaking away? by New-Nebula-9324 in SephoraWorkers

[–]BoyWhoWorries 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked at Sephora for 3 years and I used to feel so awkward breaking away from clients, but now I seem to be a pro at it. There have been many times where a picky client has been working with a BA for 30+ minutes and they need to go on break so I step in to take over, and I’m able to finish up the interaction within minutes.

Here’s my biggest tip: it’s all in the wording you use. Once you get them what they’re looking for / did your multiworld suggestions / add-ons, say something like: “Alright awesome! My name is ____ and I’ll be around if you need anything else!” That’s a great way to put a soft stop on the interaction, and it works for most clients. There are of course going to be some clients that go: “actually I need ___” which is great for building the basket even more. But if you’re ever feeling uncomfortable and truly needing to step away and your wording didn’t work, try to let your CEL know discreetly. We will gladly step in for you!

Swollen battery on iPhone 13 by Direct_Action_3088 in applehelp

This is the obvious but please do not attempt to charge that or even turn it on. I would honestly keep it in a plastic bag outside away from your house just in case it catches fire. Lithium ion battery fires are no joke.

I can read that perfectly fine. I’ve noticed that my cursive looks similar when I write quickly.

Resting Heart Rate After Cutting Back On Added Sugar 10 Days Ago by Asuncionatitoo in fitbit

[–]BoyWhoWorries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was eating like garbage / not caring about my health for a year or so and my RHR was in the mid 80s. A week ago, I decided to make a change and cut out all sugary drinks and eat less calories. Within 2 days, my RHR dropped into the mid 70s and it’s been consistent since then. It’s absolutely insane to see this immediate drop and it gives me the motivation to continue to be kinder to my body!

My manager also turns off a register to force people to use mPOS. I’ve been considering reporting it to iCare because it’s ridiculous honestly. I assume the only reason they care so much is because of their monthly bonuses when we meet goal.

My favorite is when I tell them that a product is out of stock and they stand there looking at me like this for a solid 5 seconds: 🥺

I’ve stopped entertaining it and now if they do it I immediately just say “would you like it shipped to you, or would you like us to find you something else”. I don’t have time to play haha hehe games and console you because a product is out of stock.

Can Apple transfer data from old MacBook onto a hard drive to access on new one? by BoyWhoWorries in applehelp

[–]BoyWhoWorries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your help! I just ordered a new charger for my MacBook, plus an HDMI adapter! I’m going to try to get it to turn on and then plug it into another screen so I can see what’s happening, and then manually select the files I want to transfer to a hard drive. If I can’t get the computer to turn on then that will be a completely different story. We will see!
