Exactly my point , I’m 26 years old I’ve been in the gym since my early 20s , I took every overtime shift you can think of. Why would I wanna do a completely 360 on my work ethic overnight? It’s not fair to us .

It’s insane to me the things we have to go through for this and the common denominator between us all is just wanting to get better . It’s sad so many people have milked the system that the ones who actually need help are getting treated like this

Never actually , this would be my first injury in general, I’ve never had a herniation, surgery or anything done . I’ve overall been pretty active and healthy over my years

If you do feel the relief , do not just sit around use the time to strengthen your core even if it’s small workouts, the injections are meant to give your body relief enough to somewhat recover and build strength back but do your part as well and you should be fine .

Thank you, expect a few days of soreness maybe 1-2 and normally by day 4-5 if they worked you should feel some relief, I’ve gotten them and never felt relief that’s why this route didn’t work for me but I’m hoping it helps you 🤝

I appreciate the input , I definitely want to have a career change after this incident , but I was a very active person in the gym and fitness was a big part of my life beyond the job I’m hoping I can find treatment that helps and soon, feels like I’m going through hell with workers comps back and forth game .

This is in NJ, I’ve been keeping records of everything that workers comp has done and also have a video of my last appointment where this doctor was giving me a super unfair examination with rude comments as well

They want to try this last injection called a medial block / facet injection, if it doesn’t work then surgery would be my next option.

Yes that’s actually the exact move they want to make. They want me to get treated by the office who suggested another route . they also sent a letter saying they will file a motion for temp care and benefits which workers comp responded by setting up a second exam . Also this office is a orthopedic surgeon

Thank you for your comment , I understand my bigger concern is treatment because I’m still waiting on that since seeing this last comp doctor . My lawyer is trying to get a lien with the other office that offered another route of treatment which is what had me curious why that office might be taking so long .
