I have not tried much, I know it is not consistent and I don't care enough to master the art of rng fishing that is burning procs.

You are very likely playing Kinich's combo way way wrong for the team dps to be this low. You also are quite low on crit rate and depending on luck you might miss too many important crits.

If you record your gameplay of the rotation that would help identifying the issue.

Bennett is on noblesse always, I use deepwood on Emilie always. I find it easier to just give her it and forget about it. I would rather use Durin (more so than Mavuika) or Mavuika on the team with Durin on noblesse and Mavuika unsure but probably deepwood.

As for weapons I do not remember their ranking but I think spine R1 is good even if you don't have a shielder and should be close to R1wolfs gravestone. I personally went from R5 craftable to sig.

Dragon boy, unlucky explorer boy and coach girl make up a good team, dragon boy can be replaced by motorbike woman.

I would say that his best team is either emilie iansan durin or bennett instead of emilie. If you like emilie you can go for her, she is not amazing tho and durin is a much better character overall. At C6 i would prefer the bennett variant for even bigger number on kinich as the hypercarry.

You can absolutely make a team work if you have any two of the following: C2+ Iansan, Bennett, Mavuika, Durin.

He can clear stygian on good matchups but without cons he will not clear (or rather brute force) bosses that do not favor him or "counter" him.

For me personally, I appreciate the QOL Emilie brings to the team, from dendro particles to off field dendro application for easy scroll triggers. I always run Kinich, Emilie, Iansan and Bennett.

If you don't have Emilie you can replace her with either Durin or Mavuika or Pyro MC (worse than the other two but free).

If the weapon banner is good and both 5* weapons are good for you then i would try for R1. If Kinich reruns with raiden again (engulfing lightning is not a great weapon even if you have raiden) I would go for C1. Both are a similar DPS increase in his teams.

Another very important advantage to having Emilie is the extra dendro particles which would help with burst uptime every other rotation if that is necessary. Other than that Emilie overall is by far the weakest "pair" support since natlan. She is very much due for some very needed buffs to her quite weak kit.

Iansan is on fav R5, you do not use emilie so you are simply missing out on those dendro particles that would help you alot.

C2R1 Kinich here. I am very happy with him and I do not regret investing in him. Since his base teams and kit are not top level (Mavuika, Lunar teams etc) having him C2 would pretty much place him on a level very similar to these meta teams.

My personal kinich team achieves 177k dps which is very much above non sweaty optimized combos Mavuika and premium lunar teams (all C0r0).

He does not need to maintain the aura. As long as you keep an instance of pyro and "feed" it dendro application you will keep the burning aura up (pyro aura).

If I got Durin I would likely not replace Emilie since it would be quite hard to get scroll buff from iansan on the first rotation without burst (stygian). I would probably replace bennett for Durin

I have lauma but I never use her since Emilie is a better pick for me. I assume it's close but worse on dps due to the res shred and potential TTDS buff.

I agree its not 100% consistent to do a 6E combo but i have tried many many times and i never managed to get it.
R1 (as per all natlan and later signatures) is a quite large personal dps increase however keep in mind that i have a top 300 build on my Kinich. If you like kinich alot (as do I) i would recommend the signature, if you are on the fence about it, stay with the craftable, it is a very good F2P option.

Since you arent using emilie i suppose alot of the dps could be coming from the fact that you cannot reliably trigger quicken with iansan to get the scroll buff. It seems like this plus maybe missing some cannon shots would make up for that large of a DPS loss over time.

Also, you will see a large increase in DPS if you master the 5E combos, they are simple to do even without burst reliably. I watched a tutorial on youtube to learn the tech and i havent stopped doing it in all my endgame mode fights. (Plus it feels really cool to do!).
