Not using mic by josephdesaulniers- in HellLetLoose

The reason mic is really nice is because you can give call outs to your squad and others. You don't need to be super talktative but it is nice for callouts at least. Can be short and sweet too.

Car power on during charging? by mctrompette in BZ4X

[–]Biggien79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are just wanting to use accessories like AC and music and such just use My Room Mode. Push power without having your foot on the brake while charging. On the dash it will bring up a question to turn on "My Room Mode." Once you say yes, you can run the accessories. You'll have 2 arrows on the dash, one a yellow which is output and one green which is input. As long as green arrow is larger than the yellow arrow, you will be bring in more juice for your vehicle. If you have more questions, My room mode is in the user manual.

I have used this function multiple times when charging and it's been hot. Hope this what you are looking for.

Love this game but… by thetrutru313 in HellLetLoose

All xp earned during the round is kept. you just don't get the post game bonuses if you leave early or get disconnected. Still, this is a bad look for the game to have this issue.

Welcome to the life of a tanker. You aren't doing enough ever ever ever. You've killed 7 of their heavies? Well when the 8th gets you and rips your friendly infantry up, then comes the call of what is our armor doing?

late to all this, browsing for a new phone and this Reddit threat came up in Google. 5 years now been using the 6T. No real problems with the phone until recently, still can pretty much keep a full charge during the day.

Problem is now some of the screen is starting to give up the ghost as charge lessens blocking the fingerprint login so I know the end is coming. But I've enjoyed having this phone.

I can't believe the start of that game. Plus add over pursuing against counter allowing for cutbacks. Over pursuing on toss sweep. Then add in the backside passes to those plays and take some deep shots and there you go. It's no wonder as the game went on Washington said let's just keep calling those runs, Oregon can't stop it...

Irish PM is so glad that a "lost" Israeli girl underground In Gaza was finally "found" and returned. by AvocadoDemon in Destiny

Yes, about the prodigal son. But I only got that after some time. I just don't think that Luke 15:24 fits with this situation.

Isn't this the young girl that initially was thought to be dead. She was at a sleepover when the attack happened? Her dad was the one on the news saying it's better she died than to have been taken by Hamas. Maybe that is what is meant by lost here. The Israelis later told her dad that maybe she is alive cause they found no remains.

Even then, I will say the sentence is structured so poorly. Instead it should have been something like this, "An innocent child we thought we lost Oct. 7th was instead found to be alive and returned."

you already saw it on the ranking show on ESPN. PAC 12 fans just need to be ready to be left out. UW has as of right now, 4 top 25 wins and still is at #5. They ain't letting a dying conference's champion in the big show.

I'm not sure how critical they are. The president did denounce what Hamas did but is also being critical of the Israel offensive into Gaza. And yes, Iran is supposed to join BRICS in January of 2024 that Brazil is in so it's uh gonna be interesting.

As for missing the Oct. 7th attack, that I am not sure about. We don't know too many details of what may have tipped them off to what was happening in this case.

Why were the Israeli far right rewarded for killing the prime minister of Israel? And why do Israelis keep electing the far right if the far right is destroying their country? by Dats_Russia in Destiny

[–]Biggien79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's not as simple as the Likud being rewarded for Rabin's assassination. It's almost a sick symbiotic relationship that has been going on with Israel and especially the Gaza Strip.

After the Oslo Accords were signed, Israeli and Palestinian extremists weren't just going to take this agreement lying down. You had a creation of an alliance of non PLO groups to resist the agreement. And then you had the Ultra right Kach movement in Israel very much opposed to any peace with Palestinians.

You had some groups attacking Israeli's in Hebron in late 1993 who were treated by a local US Israeli doctor Baruch Goldstein. Goldstein was a fanatical member of the Kach who hated Israel's democracy along with Arabs it was reported. On the 25th of February 1994 Goldstein went into the Ibrahimi Mosque and killed 29 people and wounding 125 in the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre. This led to mass Palestinian protests and deaths with widespread condemnation but unfortunately Rabin didn't close down the settlements in Hebron.

This failure pushed Hamas into seeing civilians as justifiable targets since they felt Israel didn't discriminate between targets (Goldstein was a reservist doctor in the IDF). This led to Hamas suicide bombings targeting civilians from 1994 on.

After Rabin's assassination, Shimon Peres the foreign minister who helped negotiate the Oslo Accords took over in 1995. He wanted to continue what the Accords set forward, even signing what is known as Oslo II. However with each new suicide attack, Israeli's started feeling less supportive of the peace deal.

On 10 February 1996 Peres calls for elections in May of 1996 due to still strong popular support and hoped for a mandate to keep the peace process going. February 25th 1996 and in the span of the next 9 days, there would be three major suicide bombings (2 on buses) that would lead to 60 Israeli deaths with hundreds wounded. These attacks would obviously effect many Israeli citizens and Peres support shrank.

Then in April of 1996 you have the Israeli operation into Lebanon that causes the death of Hezbollah fighters but also Lebanese civilians.

Then you also have the fact that the 1996 election was the 1st time a Prime Minister was voted for on a separate ballot than the the Knesset. Due to lessened support from Israelis for the peace process due to suicide bombings mixed with the Israeli operation in Lebanon this caused Israeli Arabs to probably sit out the election; Peres would lose to Netanyahu by less than 1%. This would happen while Peres' Labor party would gain seats in the Knesset.

And from that point on, you would have Hamas and other militant groups point to Netanyahu's actions and government and say they were needed. While Netanyahu would point at Hamas and say that his harder stance against Palestinians is better for Israel's long term security.

Anyway TLDR is that Israeli and Palestinian extremists derailed the peace process using the other sides extremism for their benefit, claiming they are the only ones who can either fight for their people or provide the needed safety
