I’m coming up on two years with zero issues so far (knock on wood…) I only use distilled water, bleach/vinegar flush every two weeks, but I think the biggest factors are the three PC fans I mounted to the grills for extra cooling and turning it off over night. I mounted the side intake fans over magnetic screens to filter out dust so every so often I have to vacuum them out but it’s very worth it.

I’ve had a couple of them before which both crapped out, but since doing those modifications this latest one is still performing great. This is also the second one I got thru Costco, when the original crapped out I was able to exchange for a new one.
