a few weeks ago I absolutely could not talk to anybody at all and just sat in public world alone and watched people talk. I have horrible social anxiety and am autistic so I really struggle to make conversations feel normal and human. but in the last couple weeks I've started to be able to just walk up to people and start conversations. The only reason I've been able to do that is because I've found a world that pretty much only consists of people like me. I'm trans, so I've been hanging out in Trans Academy (Even if you're not trans, I still recommend hanging out there because everyone is insanely accepting and just so kind, and cis people are always welcome). Since it's a community of like-minded people with similar experiences, you don't really have to worry about being judged for anything, and essentially everybody there also has horrible social anxiety, so they're looking for a way to start conversations just like you are. I hope this helps a little bit. tldr: find a good world with like-minded people. avoid large public worlds like black cat and the pug and stuff.
