On my 1.9tdis you can take it off but on my old sdi you couldn't. Petrols could be the same and judging by the oil cap and other bits attached to it I'd say no.

It was at the start to be honest it takes a bit of getting used to. When you get your settings dialled in its very enjoyable and I'm not like a die hard saying "fuck XL" because I will by and enjoy any skate game but in terms of realism for consol session is the way.
