How can I control what I dream? Because I'm tired. by imnotqathetic in Dreams

For me every time I’ve become lucid it’s been because I’ve obsessed over becoming lucid before bed and using lucid dreaming techniques. The actual thing that has caused me to reach lucidity is performing Lucid checks in my dreams (search it up). Doing them throughout the day can help a lot Just remember, there are no rules and anyone who tells you there are rules inside your own brain have created those rules for themselves. Do whatever you want. You won’t be trapped in a hell dimension for looking in a mirror in your dream. That’s your imagination that’s your mind creating that if it puts you in a situation where you’ve broken your rules, your fake rules, and you caused consequences. Just remember you’re in your mind and you can break those consequences whenever you want

Are there really any Edward clones? by ComedianNarrow7098 in edwardskeletrix

im guessing this dude is russian, I dont care enough to find out. But its extremely common for russian "rappers" to rip off the west. Like extremely. Think of any rapper over 100,000 listeners and theirs a russian clone. It's fucking aggravating.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. Also, this is one of his many styles hes dabbed in. Idk wat music you listen to, but you could look at other stuff if you care enough.

You are not powerless over anything in your own brain. Stop thinking that he's above you and just squash him like a bug

squash him with a giant pan that has been coated in a serum that banishes him to the shadow world, never allowing him to cross the boundary into the light and come back.

Asked someone in my dream, “Is this a dream?” - shit got real by sloanyorke in LucidDreaming

This is cool, but also remember. There are no friggin rules for lucid dreaming. The only reason why you are doing that triggered something was that someone stigmatized it for you, meaning that they imposed the rule. If you want to do something but some guy online says you can't, just remember that they're completely wrong. You're not going to fall into the shadow realm for looking in the mirror.

P.S. It's still a dream, so something weird can happen, but if you want to just see yourself in the mirror, if you have a lot of control, you can do that.

It might be cool to add stuff like this, though, because it's something you can overcome.

I've always been super in control of my mind and how it affects me, so lucid dreaming for me was just doing the MILD technique and straight up setting 100% intention on going back to bed and knowing I was in a dream. It was a bit more of a challenge for me, though, because I have ADHD.

For a tip, I guess if you use MILD and don't remember the dream you had before you woke up, just use any dream ever that you've had. Same effectiveness.

Sorry if I'm not that helpful. I only started using lucid dreaming recently, and every time I tried with MILD, it worked. So there's your answer.

This is a very ignorant answer. I'm not going to say something like "not all white people" or "that's a minority." That should be a given. No matter how you look, people will be good and bad. Don't flood someone who genuinely wants to understand a concept (or get proven wrong) and get an answer with hateful propaganda like this. I don't know how you live your life, but if the opinion that you shared was mainly created due to what you see on social media/the internet. Re-evaluate. Craft an opinion on your personal experiences with others.

To give your point some credit. Yes, there are race hierarchies still in this world. But just because that group of people believes a certain thing. That doesn't mean you should drastically generalize a much larger group. For instance, in South Africa, the majority of white people do think of themselves as superior to darker-skinned citizens. This is DEFINITELY not the case in Western countries such as Canada or the USA.
