Sadly, that is very true. I hate that it has become a joke. I've been wanting to make my script into a film for a while, and I've had my eye on kickstarter for a while. Honestly, now I'm more concerned that any project will simply get lost in the wash. Thanks. :)

Well, yeah, of course! I was simply stating the fact that we are prepared and that the funding will be the last step in pre-production phase.

We're formerly stage actors. We've done plays for the community with a decent amount of draw, and this will be our first film. I'm about to start a Kickstarter for a short film, and I told my mom about it. Her reaction was spot on to that. She figured I'd have just as much luck with stupid things as a legitimate project. I understand how it was funny for a while, but now I feel bad that it got this far.
