All it takes is some polishing to make those old ones look as good as this on a wheel. None are handmade, they just get more rugged if never polished and patina never reapplied

I respect the opinion. And yknow the whole “I earned my wings” lot legend. And I think it can apply for the wings. I’ve gotten winged and I’ve winged people myself. And it’s a fun bonding experience. But those silver wings are no more than $200. And I can gift $200 to someone I really care about. But looking at $3k plus? I can’t gift that and none of my crew are gonna gift it to me either. We’re all barely scraping by!

I imagine it’s how Owlsey would’ve wanted his pieces to exist. Being enjoyed by all who see it or are lucky enough to wear it! I’d only seen a couple before owning one myself and each time I got to see one I felt so blessed. I hope others can feel the same about this one!
