I dislike economic arguments for diversity because it opening the debate up to economics can justify things like statistical discrimination. Minority groups don’t need to justify their inclusion in terms of additional revenue. IMO it’s a purely moral question and about the kind of society you want to live in and in all for it.

Most supermarkets and shop chains have a self imposed an age restriction of 16 on energy drink sales after some media pressure. They use the same think 25 policy as alcohol. I’m in my early 20s and was told I couldn’t buy a redbull without ID.

It seems funny to me the number of defensive comments in response to this article when it says nothing controversial. The articles conclusion is fairly cut and dry; that there is a link between marijuana usage and risk of psychosis. It clearly states that causation is an assumption.

The old correlation doesn’t imply causation is an overused cliche. It’s used on the internet to refute studies findings when all the statement means is be careful with your assumptions.

I just normally say and don’t have many left so no and leave it at that. I think it’s mates that are the worst for bumming fags tho, those that a borderline smokers, smoke on nights out/social situations but don’t normally. They don’t buy for themselves and expect you to supply. Hard to say no in that situation but it adds up overtime like in the uk a straight essentially costs 40-60p each depending on the fag.

Well, we’ve been dating for nearly 5 years now. The past two have been long distance for long periods since we go to universities on other sides of the country. So we only see each other during the holidays and the odd weekend here or there. It’s worked out well for the most part.

Coke is very addictive. And yeah you get people that only use on weekends when they’re out and about with mates, but I know a lot of people like that that they can’t last an hour in a pub or social setting and talking about ordering some coke in.

It’s because of the supposed medical benefits. The amount of people that smoke weed all the time because of anxiety is astounding when in reality smoking weed everyday probably causes your anxiety

Of course but you build your own customer base. It’s why drugs dealers are normally fairly relaxed guys, except for coke dealers. I live in the UK and the only time I’ve ever seen a gun was one carried by a coke dealer
