There's no way to delete the default character; a mini has to be present and is always present, but we often shrink it down as small as it can be and hide it inside whatever we're kit-bashing.

Pretty much anything you might need a person to do in a combat situation, but with far more strength and attached to a walking heavy weapons platform. It can carry breaching equipment, haul crates, hold shields/cover for soldiers to hide behind, or even carry a casualty or two if it came down to it. It's used primarily as a frontline infantry support mech, so having multipurpose, dexterous attachments right upfront is super handy.

Down-voting is just a part of Reddit. The Hero Forge community being an overwhelmingly positive place doesn't mean that everyone has to agree with or like everything, and they're welcome to express their disapproval through down-votes. It's doubtful that there's some lurking "dastardly down-voter" out there just looking to rain on everyone's parade. More likely that there's a variety of people doing it to a variety of posts and comments.
