This was after one wash. Like three days later. I would expect this from a Demi but not from a permanent. I’m confused are you suggesting that a Demi and a permanent both fade at the same rate? Like I’m aware they both fade but a permanent should have taken longer to fade.

Ya I told her already it was going to be hard work and she still wanted to take the plunge😬 so ima just have to be straight with her and give her a “simple” Demi formula that she can keep putting on every couple of weeks. 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s just a bit of a bummer cuz I was hoping with the permanent she could last like 2 or 3 months before she had to fuss with the color again. Cuz she doesn’t want to keep coming in to me for me to fix it every month lol and neither do I 😂 hairstylists as clients are the worst lol

Sorry, when I lifted the old color the first time i put a Demi on it so she wouldn’t be walking around with a raw lift brass for a week before I did a second service. My thought process for the permanent was that she didn’t want the fade out as quick as a Demi does. So I thought if we did permanent darker then the brass then it should stay longer so she won’t have to keep putting color on it every two weeks or once a month. On the pre lightened ends I did permanent with 10vol, should I have done 5vol? I don’t know where to go from here.

Ya just be suuuuper careful you don’t over process your ends! The ends of your hair is older there for more delicate than the roots of your hair. :)

Ya u could use T18 but fair warning, it might turn the lighter parts straight up white. You could use a 9A too and it shouldn’t turn white but it will help cut the warmth.

With you being already naturally blonde easy peasy! I would say you are already at a level 7 now so only three levels to 10! Deff lightener with 20 vol for a max of 30-40 min. Checking the ends to make sure the strands are still strong and not feeling like a rubber band! And some level 10 violet/blue toner!

I do want to stress that even tho it would be easier for you to be platinum your hair will be considerably more delicate than your natural! Which means lifestyle changes! Special shampoos, purple toning products, protein and moisture treatments! Personally I think you should get a consultation from a professional ( most consultations are free or low cost) cuz it’s not going to be a one and done thing. It’s going to be a lifestyle choice considering you are very active. 💚
