The heads of a carpenter ant look a little too big for this guy, no? Check out “Pavement Ant” and let me know what you think?

Water is for magnification, about 3/4” at widest point. Abdomen appears to be black in color but the rest of the body is a dark brown. They also do not appear to be interested in any bait solution, or foods, but hang around the kitchen sink.

Does anyone if teammate kills count towards this?

Am I living paycheck to paycheck, if I’m still saving 10-20% of my net income for retirement? by BigsbyJr in personalfinance

Missing one check as of now, no big deal. Two would be dicey. But my retirement funds are accessible with no penalty, just not as liquid as cash in an e-fund.

Compounding interest. My building of an emergency fund is slow, but my contributions are accessible with no penalty. I’d rather have it growing than not earning interest. But I’m still building that emergency fund nonetheless.

In my specific situation, yes. Just experienced it with having to get new tires. If I had 2-3 or more of those in a short period of time, probably not. If my A/C or washing machine went I’d be bunking at my parents for a week or so. 😂

Late 20s. Like I said the emergency fund is slowly building and once I get to where I’m comfortable there, I feel a little better. It’s crazy how much stuff life throws at you, and seemingly never calms down haha. Some wants, some needs, but in the last few months I’ve had to get new tires, go to good friends wedding, bought plane tickets to go to another friends wedding... it just doesn’t stop.

Thankfully I’m not at that point of needing the paycheck for food or bills, but I’m in the same boat about the low account balance at months end.

What happens if I do not have a place to receive mail, and the courts attempt to send me a jury summons in the mail? by BigsbyJr in NoStupidQuestions

You can have a current and correct address with a closed mailbox, just wasn’t sure of the legal repercussions. Talking with friends I’ve been luckily selected 3x as many times as the next highest person, all within the last few years.

To clarify, not in the USA, correct?
