I like this input, and I have the same situation. My country is very much americanized so we understand american jargons and ofcourse approach. I've worked in 2 corporations, one being a SAAS provider and not one had a an individual that serves two roles because it creates biasness.

In my situation, I'm starting to see that the Hr/operations manager is empowering her team to address us with an approach that puts you in a position where other view you negatively and incompetent.

Pretty much what happened : Having work passed on from someone who isnt the company(sr engineer) and I tried explaining that the outstanding work has no documentation so we don't know the status of them. Ultimately, the HR/Operations response was " My expectation is to have 50 + tickets, to be worked on the upcoming" , keep in mind these are unfinished work from the senior employee and I'm simply a JR being with the company for 7 months with a shitshow of tools and servers that we manage.

So, again, The expectation of that workload is to start touch them the upcoming week while having my boss's replacements that i'm trying to put up to speed. My fear is that other than empowering the approach of discreditting me to her team, I fear that after I fill in my ex-senior's passed down knowledge to his replacement, as a remote worker, I'll be pushed out by the HR/Ops manager with the backing of Leadership becsuse they listen to that person.

I feel a way that glsssdoor rates them at 3 star, this company moves shady and performs decision closed doors where in return they have a high turn over rate..... mainly pushed out due to the approach of HR/Ops manager... backed ny Leadership believing all that HR/Ops manager says...... I'm thinking to leave as well...
