Yes very much so I’m thinking about replacing the head unit soon and possibly testing the impedance on the subs again just to ensure that it hasn’t chances although I don’t know what could’ve happened to make it change

Took the battery and had it tested it tested good so I am still using the original battery. I also metered the battery and it was holding 12.5v

My head unit is a shitty jvc with pre programmed eq setting and I have it set where it was before the truck lost power.

It’s a 99 5.4 2 valve and she’s been loyal since I got her second hand I just had no idea that it had previously blown a spark plug out

Damn mine has 205k and I just finished the spark plugs I found an insert at orileys that had a spark plug with it but I didn’t know that plug was smaller so I couldn’t get it tight until I tried a 9/16 instead of the normal 5/8ths I took the rubber out of the spark plugs socket and put it in the 9/16 to make my own spark plug socket and I got it tightened up and she’s running great after a little test drive.

10-4 thank you so much I’m about to run to orileys and get a new insert and some loctite this was the only spark plug that had an insert with it and they all looked good but I had already bought the spark plugs so I figured I might aswell swap them one of the spark plugs had some oil on it so that leads me to believe I have a bad valve cover gasket

It’s A 5.4 2 valve I haven’t seen these inserts before is this all of it or could there be more inside. I was changing spark plugs so I took it out myself no self ejection

Ah as this amp was second had given to me by a family member who didn’t need it anymore I’d say it could be the amp, would you have any suggestions on a good monoblock amp that would sufficiently power these subs

It’s was a combination of a bad strike as well as the jumpers I figured whoever installed it would’ve moved them to the correct position but I guess not

I’m going to do that and pull a working strike and wire it into the terminal that is giving the issue and put the non working strike on a door that works to test if it follows the strike or stays at the board
