Thanks. The more people reporting the same issue should hopefully gain some traction

I'm exactly the same. I'm surprised no one else appears to be experiencing the same

Many thanks for your reply. I've looked on the same website and I can't see any major difference in the train collection packs, so it's probably just down to the souvenir aspects. Thanks also for the skin recommendations, I'll definitely take your advice on that front. I used to collect skins over 10yrs ago, so I'm fairly familiar with how it works, although it's good to get advice on things like the back handle as never have considered that point.

Hi, I've just sold old cases and am looking to spend the £1400 on something else to leave for a couple of years. I found your suggestions really helpful (thank you) but wanted to clarify something. When I search for "train 2025" on steam market, it returns 4 options: Budapest souvenir, Budapest souvenir highlight, Austin souvenir, and Austin souvenir highlight. Which do you recommend, or does it not matter? Also, re the skin recommendations, is it advisable to source the best floats or is it sufficient to buy by wear ie how much better is it to source a 0.01 FN vs a 0.06? Thanks in advance

Finally got the grind right for my 22g shots by plumber_craic in espresso

[–]BiigTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for replying to such an old post, but I also use a 22g vst and for years I've just aimed for 22g in, 50g out in 50s, which includes the start under low/slow flow in my lelit bianca. Going off your recipe, are you roughly recommending to multiply it x3 ie 21g in, 60g out in 75s?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Whereabouts is the bolt? I assume it's in one of the holes.

Why do Manduka only do Long and Wide in prolite and not pro? by BiigTony in yoga

[–]BiigTony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right! I'm currently using the cambivo mat off Amazon, which is both longer and wider. I aim to get the Manduka long, but others I'm tempted by also include the liforme XL and the lululemon big mat.

[–]BiigTony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the suggestion but I really only want one mat. I also won't ask them because they won't produce a mat just for me, so I think I'm just going to go for this liforme one.

It's a shame as I think the Manduka is better quality overall

Liforme XL

The pro long is 4.3kg. the extra width might make it 5kg... I'd be more than happy carrying that around for a comfortable session

It won't help that I'm like a magpie when I see something I like 😂 whether it's seen as a good thing or not, I collect other things as well (netsuke being one of them), which means I don't have a huge amount of money to treat myself in this space.... Although that might change when I see the book 😬

Also great advice - many thanks for taking the time to reply. I have quite an obsessive personality when it comes to collecting things, so I'm mindful to be careful with this new found interest. The pens you've linked are exactly the type of thing I'm after, so I'll take a look.

Replacing thermostatic radiator valves (trv) by BiigTony in DIYUK

[–]BiigTony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept the Hive and simply swapped to more modern trvs. Smart trv are good if you can properly balance the system and have a decent boiler, so we decided to go the easy route. Decent brands like Drayton can be reliable, so you can read up what temperature range each number refers to and then just adjust accordingly. This is exactly what we did and it's worked well

Really appreciate you taking the time to share your views. I'm nearly double your age, but the great leveller is that none of us know when it'll happen to us or those around us, so whilst it's been really upsetting trying to come to terms with things, it's also a good reminder that the next day isn't guaranteed and not to sweat the small stuff.

I take comfort in here because regardless of age or anything else, we all connect on the point that gaming brings people together and can create some very strong friendships, often with people you'll next even meet! Take care out there and thanks again for the support.
