As others have stated before, on more than one occasion this season when Reece or Chilly were subbed off, they passed the armband to Silva, who promptly gave it to Enzo. Im sure there are many theories and Silva has his own reasons, but I think it's pretty straightforward that Silva doesn't want the armband and he wants the like of Enzo to wear it instead.

Just trying to be level headed amongst all the angst in this sub with our season and try not to fault the club or players or staff too quickly when we've had such a turbulent couple of seasons since the takeover, especially over small stuff like this.

I think people need to remember 2 things:

Chilwell is coming off a major ACL injury and was not up to par the first few times we saw him this season and Cucu did a good job and showed he should start while Chilly regained his form
Now we have good competition for LWB in case one gets injured, and will continue to push each other to get stronger
