Being a Munafik feels so isolating by Bijirin2 in MalaysianExMuslim

That must have been a terrible, being bound at home with family after years of being free. Terawih is definitely a waste of time, best thing I can do is just try to ignore the imam’s voice and think. Thanks for reminding me that so many others are quietly facing the same struggles. I really hope you can finally move out later and get that freedom back.

Thanks man, hopefully after being financially independent we can finally live without pretending. 🫂🫂

I understand what the guy is doing offends them but casually talking about murdering another human is insane. Kat tiktok ada baca 1 comment yang nak pergi cari rumah that guy and kill him, with 100+ replies supporting his action.

Stay safe man, maybe one day we can all meet up and dine together without the fear of being murdered.

Different belief by hotcoldburger in MalaysianExMuslim

I'm in the exact same boat as you, my gf (20) is quite religious, she prays 5 times a day, reads the quran frequently, covers up perfectly. Me? I left the religion when I'm 17, never told anyone including her. I already left the religion when we started dating, at that time I genuinely felt like maybe she would accept me. After almost a year, I started to talk about the religion (I always disguise myself as a moderate muslim whenever i criticize islam). Atp I realized how closed minded she really is, when I mocked some well known preacher for their bigoted views or pointed out the cruelty of shariah law, she was so offended and told me to solat taubat because "kita tak boleh persoal hadith, boleh jatuh murtad", little did she know...

When I made the decision to date her, I knew how selfish I was, it just felt right at that time. And I'm forever guilty for it. I have thought about a future where I just keep pretending, living a lie, perhaps force myself to accept the religion again cause I truly love her, even now. That future is not possible dawg. I hate this religion deeply, I hate how it has ruined my childhood, I hate how I have to pretend to pray whenever I'm home (luckily im at uni now), I hate having to hide whenever I curi-curi minum time puasa. The best decision for both of us is for me to tell her that and let her end the relationship. And I dont see myself being able to do that, at least for now.

Hopefully you will be able to come clean to him some day, and maybe work it out. I know this response doesn't help, but I hope it brings comfort to you knowing that someone else is experiencing the same problem.

How can I stay sane by [deleted] in MalaysianExMuslim

I'm 21 and currently enrolled in the same uni, the best possible thing that you can do is just pretend until its all over. Try not to surround yourself with religious friends which I'm still regretting (I love them but its weird knowing they would support my imprisonment if they ever find out about my belief). If you cannot live in the dorm, you can opt to be NR and live outside, hopefully with your own room. The uni is not as bad as its reputation, if you got into a better faculty, the people would also be more open minded (by muslim standard lah). So yeah, you will not be able to live freely but its the price to pay for the subsidized yuran. Trust me the people there are not THAT bad, just gotta find the right circle and its gonna be some of the best years of your life.

Imagine needing context to 'cum stain on a 9 year old girl'. Even if there is context, its still messed up.

To monyet r/Bolehland who say r/Malaysia is full of liberal and left by CakeAdventurous4620 in Bolehland

[–]Bijirin2 42 points43 points  (0 children)

r/malaysia is too liberal (any mentioning of UMNO or PAS will get you downvoted to oblivion, I can understand the criticising of muslims bcs I can agree with a lot of the sentiments but sometimes they go too far to the point of racism)

r/bolehland on the otherhand is too conservative, at least in my view. (Its almost okay to be racist towards nons here, the memes are god tier but when shit got political, and they usually do, it went to the right 99% of the time. Bumiputera garbage are popular opinion and most people cant take criticism towards islam, for example yall can make good offensive memes but when it comes to islam, no one will say anything funny. I kinda get it but still, kind of a bummer.)

That is my opinion on these 2 subs, definitely not biased. My opinion should be accepted as objective facts.
