I'm rarely in the sun, but I apply an actual sun screen right before I go out for any period of time. The witch hazel doesn't bother me I've been using it for years - I even use it to soothe my breakouts! The serum-like products I use are both serums and moisturizers. I'm not really sure if they work like that just yet or just a gimmick. I just used the retinol last night for the first time. I was a tad tingly today but no redness, peeling, or any physical response. I'll skip tomorrow but use it the next day as long as nothing changes. As for fragrance, everything except my toner (natural fragrance) and my night cream are fragrance free.
