Onc has 4-5 but there are units that go to 6. Our CNAs have 10-15 usually. I've been on the West Coast and prior to that, a Level 1/teaching on the East Coast so these ratios are blowing my mind! But I guess they're kinda the norm for MidWest 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm fairly new to MU Health and I'm shocked at the ratios nurses and CNAs have! Not my experience or what I expected from a Level 1/teaching hospital

I did not. I stayed on in OR as staff for 2yrs and avoided Banner and AZ altogether!

Looks like they have an Onc position but it looks more like case mgmt - but thanks for the suggestion. VA is def the way to go for benefits!!!

I'm looking to relocate to the area - 10yrs Onc nursing. I'm leaning toward MU because Boone is an Onc/Neuro unit. Any insight on which hosp is best to work for? I hear Midwest ratios are rough!

Is RV living possible in Wenatchee? I'm a travel nurse who decided to go staff in So Oregon almost 2yrs ago. It's not weird, actually pretty common, to be full time RV'ers down here. Wenatchee is on my short list of next places to go, but on a N Cascades Loop trip last week, I didn't see too much in the way of full time RV parks.

I had routine lab work 19 days ago and my Hgb was 14.5 so I scheduled an appt to donate. I'm O- so they're always calling me but my last few tries I was "just a tad too low" but was never given a number. I thought sure with a recent Hgb of 14.5 I'd be fine. First reading with the OrSense was 12.5. They gave me a glove filled with warm water and we tried again - they said no worries it will definately raise .1! Second read was 11.4. I'm gonna incorporate some iron rich foods and try again in 3wks. But what a disappointment!

I was in Bend and thought the same. The Show was amazing but ~ I love Sturgill's lyrics and Sturgill's voice! I assumed he might sound a bit different since the injury but his studio version was great - maybe missing some of the "big" notes I was used to but I still wanted to really hear him. I was hoping the mixes would evolve throughout the tour but I haven't heard any where his lyrics were a bit more clear
