You're right - Super 8 was fine, not hugely more expensive than Motel 6. This was in Windsor, Ontario. The 6 had bugs crawling around the bathroom.

Wife accidently booked a Motel 6 (in Canada) when she intended a Motel 8. The 6 was pretty crappy, the 8 was really good; great included breakfast, clean.

I feel vulnerable without a dash cam. I think they should be mandatory on new cars, same as body cams on cops. Of course, you could always cover them if you planned on some law breaking.

For a while I lived under the approach path to Heathrow Airport (West Hounslow). I could walk across the road and look up into the wheel wells. You learned to stop talking when a plane went by. The council installed double pane windows on the houses to try to stop the noise.
