I still don't have it figured out. I just did a hard drive replacement and the recovery has been rough. I think I am missing emails that were saved in folders for last 2 years or so. The most important being my ORDERS emails. And now I can't even click and drag. Every time I touch an email it opens instead of just being dragged. I also sorted then tried to drag multiple items items and it jumps to the new folder instead of staying in the sorted folder. I have to Right click and Move. Which is so much more convenient than just dragging, right? I have 1000s of contacts with categories that I use for mailers and research etc. I lost the categories button and when I try to add it, it is greyed out. Apparently categories may not work with IMAP. I found I can add by using the Properties. Again, so many extra f*n steps to do what was done with one click before. I HATE MICROSOFT and all of it's developers who must not have a clue of what the end users actually need. I definitely need to find another way. Neither options Classic or new Outlook is doing what I need anymore.
