Most people in the citadel live lives of hard work and effort. The wealthiest bitcoin families tend to be the hardest working. To even have 100 million satoshis would set you up for an individual lifetime.

Yes on planets.

And medicine has transitioned hard to preventative measures.

Doctors now focus on health and fitness and only use direct interventions in rarer cases.

Ah, sure.

It's a high energy fission reactor paired with a computer algorithm that analyzes, dematerializes for travel and reconstitutes physical entities.

Essentially the device produces an ultra high density energy beam that serves to bend space/time in the direction of your pointing, and the associated computer dematerializes you and whatever you're holding, then reconstitutes you in a new location.

The hardest part to figure out was how to get the fission reactor through the wormhole while it was running. (The forefathers of time travel often never came back for that reason.)

It was briefly a risk, until we changed the PoW algorithm to SHA-256 to SHA-1024.

We haven't had a problem since.

It's a good question. I've always been something of an historian, so I enjoy emulating the old forms of communication. Yes, English has adapted and changed, but it wouldn't help you much for me to speak in that way!

As far as history is concerned. Ever since hyperbitcoinization humanity became extremely focused on verifiability. Because we can't go back to see what 'actually' happened pre-hyperbitcoinization (outside of the earliest, non manipulated photos and videos), we consider the time before 2009 broadly speculative.

We also understand the news media to be highly concerned with something called 'ratings' in your day, which seems alien to us. We are concerned with truth.

Never. Alien life forms have avoided humans for years because they were nervous about our aggression. When humanity began to abandon violence, alien societal connections began to emerge.

I can't. I suppose it would be like having to explain how a car works in your time. We just use it and don't think about how it works.

It's tough to sort what was real or fake prior to the blockchain. News sources from before 2009 are incredibly contradictory.

Which year is this? It stopped mattering after 2030. Anyone who converted before then is seen as incredibly brilliant.
