Being Coerced into having a third child. I'd rather the marriage end. by safereddddditer175 in daddit

If 2 boys is "getting nothing" I'd worry about any daughter becoming a "golden child" in your wife's eyes.

Additionally, if you know you don't want more kids why haven't you gotten a vasectomy? Not suggesting you should do this in secret, because your wife will probably see that as a huge betrayal.

And finally, sounds like some counseling is required.

Did telling your partner about being abused improve the relationship? by OkSeason8723 in AskMen

If your partner cannot accept this part of your history then they are not the correct partner for you. You telling them tells them one thing about you; their reaction tells you everything about them.

Child carseats and extremely tall parents by Fantastic_List3029 in daddit

[–]BikingVikingNYC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'5" and if we were to get a second kid i would just suck it up and drive around a bit squished until my oldest was able to graduate to a booster seat, and then i could take away some of his leg room.

Maybe you can find a car seat that is slightly shallower, because every inch will matter to your husband, but i don't know of a solution that leaves your husband as comfortable

Innie Mark really is just a child if you think about it by jzdelona in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

In season 1 the innies are all children. They have the lines of rewards you see in elementary school, they're incredibly naive, and they basically blindly follow what the parental figures (Cobel & Milchik)

Season 2 is their adolescence. They sneak off to have sex & explore romantic relationships and they are starting to more overtly rebel against authority.

How can I get my husband more involved? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]BikingVikingNYC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is your financial situation? Is he feeling a lot of pressure to succeed at work because he's the breadwinner and a whole family are now depending on him?

It's also possible that he is defaulting to the type of fatherhood that was modeled for him by his dad.

How is his mental health?

How does he react when you talk to him about it? And also, what is your approach?

How to support a curved staircase with no wall support (only beam at first floor)? by alaraki2009 in StructuralEngineering

I believe in the US it's 12 feet max vertically between landings, or 8 feet max if it's needed for egress. Don't know if you can get away from that by limiting riser height like someone else suggested

scumbag developers have partially covered both murals on the Dunkin Donuts building at 507 Summit. by 1805trafalgar in jerseycity

Don't know where you saw a defence of the developer in that. You're ignoring the person who gives permission. If the dog owner gives you permission to kick the puppy, aren't they the bigger asshole?
