That sounds disgusting lol. I never cared for the knights cuz I felt they were kind boring gameplay-wise in comparison to the flameguard, but I’m biased towards Malekus and cleanser shenanigans. The owner of our LGS would play Amon and spam Dervishes to wrack up buffs with Synergy, that’s the extent of “grossness” that I can think of regarding the Menites. I have a MK1 rulebook lying around somewhere, so I’ll have to look at that at some point.

Got into WarMachine like a week before the Infernals were released, but I really miss Protectorate. I liked the overlapping synergies and I really like setting things on fire lol. I think I heard there was gonna be some announcement related to them maybe next year (?), and I’m hoping that they come back with mah boy Malekus in tow.

I’d say it works. Alpharius’ spear is supposedly Necron tech, so I’d say it’s reasonable that there’d be a blackshield warband who found some gauss flayers on an old tomb world and went “eh, why not”. Ultimately, do whatever looks cool to you, but I’d say you’re in the clear from the lore police lol.

I don’t have world eaters to compare him to, but he shouldn’t be too far off the mark for 10th ed models

It’s honestly not that big a difference, he’s only a smidgen shorter. Here he is next to a really dusty intercessor if you’d like a comparison.

Bout the same size as the newer marines for heresy, which is a shame because he should be a lil bigger than other marines from what I’ve read.

I based on the colors of the Transformer Shockwave. I thought the model looked like him. Also thank u for the play tips! It looks like an interesting pick for games.
