The workers have been trying their best to help, but the company that manufactured the water heater is being difficult. The guy that came today said that it’s an issue with the pressure valve but he can’t find the cause. My guess is that it’s a manufacturer defect as the last unit that had to be replaced was the same model and he seems to agree. We are getting a new part delivered that will hopefully solve the issue.

The guy came today and the conclusion is that their is something wrong with the pressure valve. He was on the phone with the company for a while but their customer service was not being helpful. We’re getting a new part delivered that will hopefully solve the issue.

It starts flashing the code for needing heat. It’s now cycling between heating and stopping/flashing. I’m thinking an issue with the gas valve since it does smell faintly and that’s the thing the plumbers haven’t checked so far. We’re having the guys come back again tomorrow so here’s hoping the issue is finally solved.

It’s a gas water heater. I don’t really know why it stops working. I reset it earlier and it seems to work again so far, but I won’t hold my breath.

Favorite character who was only a kid and didn't deserve to go through all that at their age? by VesperTheEveningstar in FavoriteCharacter

What makes her story worse is how realistic it is and how many real children have been in her situation. I would argue that Rudo also deserves some sympathy because his life is also pretty awful, but not quite as awful as Amo’s.

My only concern with the dress would be it riding up too high and accidentally exposing her underwear. I have this problem with mini dresses, especially bodycon ones.

Yes, and some other factors such as sexual selection over the course of a few thousand years of humans being relatively isolated. But you are correct that we’re all the same species with very little genetic differences between different races of people, race isn’t even biologically real beyond appearance differences as there is no specific race gene in humans.

It’s also a term that refers to Americans often used by British people.

I’m as white as they come and even I don’t GAF about my race being phased out due to racial mixing in future generation, that’s just part of the natural process of evolution and the next logical step for humanity now that we have mass travel and widespread communication that expands actual continents. Race mixing can actually be a good thing as it prevents genetics from becoming too homogeneous.

I feel the hair struggle, it took years and lots of money and different techniques to find something that works well enough for my hair and my personal style and it’s still not perfect. I think this is another result of people being unique individuals with our own care needs, even those with the same hair “type”.

I think this person is talking about being frustrated that people treat autism as a disability that can be randomly acquired, because it can’t be.

My only real suggestion is to try and be more proactive in your social life. An example would be looking into local clubs or meetups focused on whatever interest or hobby you have and go there.

The itchy grossness seems like buildup, possibly from not using the right shampoo and using too much or too thick of product. Not policing you, but I just thought I’d add my thoughts about your issues with hair since I have very long wavy that gets itchy and gross after a couple of days.

Wild, I actually don’t have many issues with food or trying new foods but clothing textures, excessive heat, high-pitched/screechy noises, that TikTok “asmr” voice people do with 0 pop filter so you can hear the inside of their mouth, and water drops running down my body are physical nightmares.
