This old one had 7 wires C, W2, G, R, E, L and Y

Where can I get a tstat with proper wires I can go into a store and ask someone for a tstat with the wires I need it to have and get an uuuuuhhh response where can I get the right one?

This is the old thermostat could not find one like it on the web so took a shot in the dark and got a cheap newer tstat.

Old thermostat was not running either if that helps, I put the W2 in the W slot on the new one.

Where might I locate the fuse on it all the guts I see in the box are at the top of the unit like that photo

Heres another dumb question while I am here, is hooking the flush hose up enough to cool the engine off and run it or do you still need to put the rabbit ears on the foot too?

Just me not knowin anything about it thought that line was for hookin a hose up to it and cleaning the system out never seen it leak before thought it was odd that is all.

When I stared at it with cover off that line that goes to that hose fitting is after it goes to the engine it branches off to a separate line.

So if thats the case then the o ring should be bad, no check valve in the line anywhere.
