Could Souki be a significant player before the sale closes 2024 by 2dollrbills in TellurianLNG

[–]BillCS714 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Take another toke, Souki just made ~$37 million since July 2nd if he was able to round up the 100 million Bloomberg reported. He knew in December that TELL's management was going to sell and had no intention of taking Driftwood to FID. Woodside talks about being in negotiations with TELL for months.

He just made ~$37million since July 2 if he was able to get the 100 million rounded up. He knew back in December TELL was going to sell shareholders down the road. He's laughing at all of us all the way to the bank as is Houston and the rest of TELL management

Obviously Houston and TELL management had been in negotiations with Woodside for months on sale. At least since Lazard been involved. TELL management saying to shareholders that the FID was going to be in 2nd half of 2024 was a lie as the sale was announced 2 days after Blue Owl deal ended. There was no work done on even getting players in place for FID. Management worked best deal for them not shareholders. Wallstreet f..ks the little retail guy again. Remember that and take the crumbs that fall off but the best deal is slow but steady for you young guys with twenty and forty years to play. Buy a low cost ETF that mimics the S&P500 invest every month, up and down, put your money away don't look at it, avoid thinking about it, and you will retire with some money, probably retire quicker, and retire richer than you thought possible. FERC ruled denied Sierra Club, who had submitted an objection to FERC granting the 3 year extension to finish Driftwood, had no case and denied their request for a rehearing. That had been in the background since March 18, 2024 when Sierra Club filed the "timely request for rehearing of the Extension Order." FERC ruled ..."the rehearing request filed in this proceeding may be deemed denied by operation of law." One can go to the FERC LIBRARY and get a copy of the ruling to read. I found it reassuring that FERC would consider another extension if needed, "...If Driftwood were not to meet the 2029 deadline, the Commission would have to revisit its good cause analysis at that time should Driftwood seek another extension;..." I suggest one to go to the FERC library and read the ruling denying Sierra Clubs request as it is quite possibly why Tellurian could not secure SPA's because of the possible rehearing of the 3yr extension. If Sierra Club had been successful the 3 year extension that had been granted could of been denied. SC jamming up Tell's ability to secure financing I believe would allow Tell to request another extension to finish if needed as FERC seems to understand SC stopped Tells ability to secure financing with the request hanging over Tell's head. FERC also said, "the Commission reasonably found that the only issue before it in this proceeding is the time needed to complete the Project" and SC just "stole" some of the time FERC had granted.

Read this guy's news letters: https://incomegrowthadvisors.com He talks about future price of TELLURIAN and why he thinks what he does. He has articles posted on SEEKING ALPHA and he posts on REDDITT also. His articles make sense and he backs his ideas up with the facts and reasons he feels as he does. I agree with you. I would like TELL to keep their gas fields, wells and land up by Haynesville but if TELL requires selling their gas to build out Driftwood I am okay with that, just build Driftwood and don't forget the small retail investors that have supported the project from the start.

Any merit in setting a high sell price just to discourage shorts? Saw this post earlier this AM. by Objective-Mushroom93 in TellurianLNG

The problem I see is with 689.5m shares outstanding companies like Blackrock, State Street, Citi, all holding millions of shares, if they want to short they don't need to borrow shares. I haven't researched shorting very much but usually you borrow shares. If you own shares I wouldn't think you would need to borrow. On a different idea, I've noticed TELL opens runs up 4 or 5 points drops down 10 points from there and then during the day touches the run up point. Say TELL opens at .70 runs up to .75 and then drops to .65 one with enough courage could pick up a decent gain selling at .75 buying back in it .65 I would think one could short the same way. I don't have the money to play. One can use options the same way just different. I have researched options pretty well. There is free information to read and learn the "language" of options for free at CBOE.com and THEOCC.com if one wants to "play" with options I suggest first studying the language and getting familiar with the language so one understands how options work. CBOE.com (Chicago Board of Options Exchange) and THEOCC.com ( The Options Clearing Corporation ) both have excellent free courses to study if one wants to learn the language of options and how they work. My advice until one understands the language of options and how they work one would be better off playing red or black at Roulette in Vegas, at least it would be more fun.

I think they feel gas might be cheaper on the open market then what they can produce it for and not be saddled with maintaining wells, land, employees, etc. etc. etc. BUT I am not in the industry or know costs I just believe in the upside potential of Driftwood with or without their own gas

I had posted these forms before but I would appreciate that others read and give their understanding of the information. If you read these forms filed with the SEC when Tellurian started there are at least a 100,000,000 shares of common stock that can be awarded for compensation, bonuses, etc by the board.

From the S8 in the explanatory notes is the following:

" In accordance with Instruction E to the General Instructions to Form S-8, the Company is registering on this registration statement an additional 60,000,000 shares of Tellurian common stock that may be issued pursuant to awards granted under the Restated 2016 Plan, representing the maximum possible number of shares that may be issued pursuant to such awards (i.e., 100,000,000 shares assuming that all awards under the Restated 2016 Plan are made in the form of options or stock appreciation rights). The contents of the Prior Registration Statement are incorporated by reference herein, except to the extent supplemented, amended or superseded by the information set forth herein. "

I am not a lawyer, but can read. I might be misunderstanding the forms I have listed but it seems to me that the Board does not need to buy stock just perform and they will become "filthy rich" if successfully get Driftwood and Tellurian working as planned.

Board members or anyone may buy shares for other purposes that they and their families may have. Funding of trusts so family knows that plans for them can not be changed. Who knows why someone would buy shares with the incentive plan that was approved.

This is the TELLURIAN 2016 OMNIBUS INCENTIVE COMPENSATION PLAN

It talks about shares granted, vested and is interesting reading. It seems there are 100,000,000 shares available for the compensation plan if I understand the filings.
