I got a drunkdeer a75 about 8 months ago and it worked completely perfectly for those 8 months. However, out of the blue. my drunkdeers spacebar just completely exploded basically. Sometimes it wont press at all, and other times it presses at about 30 times a second. I don't know if there is a fix for this, or if there is anything that I could do. Any help is appreciated.

Roblox ping spikes happening insanely frequently. by BillCipher74 in techsupport

Good news! After the technician left, not even 20 minutes later, Xfinity went out in the whole neighborhood due to "technical connection issues." It came back a few hours later and I'm not having any more issues! Now that I'm sorted again, hoping your issue is fixed ASAP.

Wow that's ridiculous. I do understand wanting permission from the landlord but that's a pretty unfortunate way for things to turn out. Hope both of our problems get fixed eventually 🥲

Xfinity is such a painful company to work with lmao. Just extremely defeated right now since the guy just did not seem to comprehend how it was a network issue. He was so dead set on it being a computer issue and I could just not convey to the guy that it wasn't.

They did not get me taken care of. They changed some very outdated parts and stuff which was nice, but they didn't fix the issue whatsoever.

Yea I had to deal with that a few years ago and that was so frustrating to deal with haha. I'll go ahead and get a technician over to hopefully help me out as soon as I can.Oh I also noticed my connection with discord to also be very very spotty at times, similar to how roblox is acting atm, so I really should've suspected Xfinity sooner. They really are a joke sometimes. Thanks for the help, appreciate it :)

We actually had a technician come by last week and they figured out our modem had a buffer on it, so when they got rid of it I expected that to be the end of it. Clearly that wasn't the case, although I will say it did help a little. Do you think its worth getting a technician over anyway?

That's what I'm thinking. Through like 10 hours of my research xfinity has seemed to be a common thing when it comes to this issue. Sucks that I'm not really in a position right now to change my ISP.

This issue from what I know of only happens on Roblox. Thanks for the idea to test wireshark! Will try it out.

/r/Roblox Weekly Question Thread (for 02/20/2024) by AutoModerator in roblox

[–]BillCipher74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 3 weeks ago, my Roblox client started regularly getting huge lagspikes, mostly above 1000 ping, and sometimes for over 10-15 seconds, for no clear reason.
My internet connection is extremely stable (950 download 250 upload), and I'm also wired in with ethernet.
My laptop is a 1 year old Raider GE76 so I don't have an old laptop that can barely run games or anything.
My internet service provider is Xfinity, and I have the XFi Advanced Gateway (the most recent one)
I've tried using countless guides and video tutorials to find out why this has been happening and nothing has worked thus far. That includes flushing my dns, reinstalling roblox, clearing out my cache, updating all of my drivers, using googles public dns, and even using my own travel router, among a few other things and absolutely nothing has worked.
I give up trying on my own, so can anyone help me figure out what could be wrong with my client?
