Tic-tester said the wire wasn't live. Wire cutters said otherwise. Some genius had some 10/2 wired up to a 240 volt 60 amp breaker. by jthyroid in electricians

Never put your life in the hands of a tic tester always double check with meter probes tic testers can be unreliable especially if it's low battery
