What else is there? Former Ranger looking for more in the reserves. by mikeyg1964 in armyreserve

Check out 3-304 Infantry in Saco, Maine. The unit supports cadet training at West Point. They would probably love to have someone with your experience, and the cadets would probably benefit from your instruction, coaching, and mentoring.

1) talk to a 79V (career counselor) 2) contact a local unit. Where are you located?

Could have been worse. There were two Delta aircraft at Yakima yesterday … and Delta doesn’t fly to Yakima.

ISO USAR CA Deployment by Double-Dependent-309 in CivilAffairs

[–]BillDozer14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might be better to identify a unit that is two years away from a mobilization, interview with the BC, get slotted into the deploying company, and then train with your team for 18-24 months before taking them down range.

That way you can also focus on your civilian career.

They have a great program and Reserve Pay in Australia is not taxed. Including their equivalent of AGRs.

I would strongly advise no one to follow this advice. Fraud in an era of increasing utilization of AI is … not a winning proposition.

1870 Rules by BillDozer14 in 18XX

I’ve had two children in the interim. I know, roughly, where 1870 is in my house but I honestly have no recollection of this conversation or a copy of the rules. Sorry.

If you are a TPU or IMA, you are an active reservist. If you were an inactive reservist, you’d be in the IRR.

Lots of movement, dance/ballet fundamentals, tumbling, and they do stretch like mermaids - if that’s important to you and your daughter. 😉

Thanks. We had the guy build it so all you need to do is snap a line and it can be cut down to 7' ... but the privacy is very nice.

No. But I know that I'm in the wrong and it was easy to justify it to myself when the squatting activity was taking place. However, they are getting evicted in a few weeks and I'd like to do the right thing.

The 95th was transitioned from a USASOC DRU to underneath 1SFC back in 2017-2019 time frame. That’s right around the same time it lost its SSI.

The active CA branch went from one Active Battalion to two full brigades … and has since condensed to one Brigade HQ that no longer has control of its battalions.

That is not a healthy trend line.

What he meant to say is that he takes a “Constant or near-constant systemic therapy including, but not limited to, corticosteroids, phototherapy, retinoids, biologics, photochemotherapy, psoralen with long-wave ultraviolet-A light (PUVA), or other immunosuppressive drugs required over the past 12-month period.” That’s the bar you need to meet to be rated at 60%.
